Jafers Supermarket

Jafers is an independently owned Algarve supermarket chain that traces back to a single family-run store opened in Vilamoura around 32 years ago. Founder João Ferreira grew the business store by store, expanding beyond Vilamoura and Quarteira into Benafim, Salir, Alte, Santa Bárbara de Nexe and Moncarapacho, and the group now runs 12 stores across the region alongside a central warehouse and administrative offices in the Vilamoura industrial zone. The Quarteira branch trades from Avenida Tivoli, offering the chain's usual range of groceries, fresh meat, bakery and household essentials.
