Extremo Ambiente

Extremo Ambiente is a Portugal-wide off-road tour operator (head office in Linho, Sintra) running a regular programme of Algarve tours with pickup points across Armacao de Pera, Albufeira, Oura, Falesia, Vilamoura, Quarteira and Quinta do Lago in the east, and Praia da Luz, Lagos, Portimao, Lagoa and Carvoeiro in the west. It has no walk-in Algarve premises; all tours are pickup-based and booked through FareHarbor. Its self-drive Algarve RZR Buggy Tours (from EUR 160, 2 hours) put guests behind the wheel of a Polaris RZR 570cc through hill trails, mud and rivers, with a minimum driving age of 21 and passengers from age 7. The Algarve Combi Tour (3 hours, from EUR 180 to EUR 210 depending on pickup zone) combines an RZR buggy with a quad bike so guests can try both, with a EUR 250 per-RZR security deposit. Jeep safaris run as Half Day and Full Day tours (from EUR 30) and an Algarve Jeep Sunset tour (from EUR 30) through rural roads, old villages and stream crossings, while the Benagil Adventure (from EUR 65, 8 hours) combines an off-road jeep safari with a winery stop and a boat trip to the Benagil Caves. A private Algarve Land Rover Private Tour (from EUR 290) adds a full day of gastronomic tastings, including honey, jam and Medronho liqueur. Bookings for every tour run through FareHarbor.
