Dos Santos Craft Beer

Dos Santos Craft Beer is a production microbrewery on the Quinta dos Santos wine estate at Sesmarias, near Carvoeiro, built around a state-of-the-art brewhouse with a current capacity of 35,000 litres a month. Head brewer Greg dos Santos brews to the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot), using only water, hops, yeast and malted barley. The year-round range covers Pilsner, Amber Ale, Lager, Pale Ale, IPA and Stout, with rotating seasonal beers served fresh from the taproom. The brewery's taproom and restaurant, 'a Esquina', sits on site overlooking the Quinta dos Santos vineyards, serving as the public tasting room where visitors can see the brewing process and drink a fresh pour in the open-air courtyard. The kitchen serves traditional Portuguese dishes reinterpreted with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, built around sharing petiscos with family and friends. Non-beer drinkers can also taste the estate's own-label Algarve wines.
