Clínica Veterinária de Loulé

Clínica Veterinária de Loulé (CVL) has been a reference point for animal medical care in Loulé and across the Algarve since 1991. The clinic is led by Dr. Sara Farrajota, and the team is qualified to treat a wide range of animals, from household pets to farm animals and horses. As well as appointments at the clinic, the practice offers home visits throughout the Algarve, adapting to the client's schedule and the animal's needs so that neither routine has to change. Services include first-opinion consultations, laboratory blood and urine tests, surgery, hospitalisation, ultrasound, and grooming and shearing. The clinic is based at Avenida José da Costa Mealha, nº 131 A, R/C Esq., in Loulé, and works with several local and international animal welfare partners, including SOS Algarve Animals, Patudos e Tarecos do Algarve, Orelhas Sem Fronteiras and the German charities Help for Paws and Tierhilfe ohne Grenzen. To limit missed appointments, the clinic operates a no-show policy: clients who miss a booking without at least two hours' notice may be charged a no-show fee or the full cost of the service, and multiple charges can apply for procedures such as surgery that run over half an hour.
