Algarve Photography (Garrett Walsh)

Algarve Photography is the studio of Garrett Walsh, a photographer who has been working across the Algarve since moving to Portugal in 2003. He qualified from the National College of Art & Design in Dublin and first built a reputation in design and graphics, with photography as a personal obsession alongside that work, before concentrating exclusively on photography. Garrett photographs weddings, real estate and architecture (villas, hotels and interiors), family and portrait sessions, and lifestyle and location shoots at some of the Algarve's best-known spots, from the caves at Carvoeiro to villas in Quinta do Lago. His portfolio, built up over two decades, spans destination weddings at venues including Vila Vita, aerial and night photography of private villas, and family sessions on beaches from Albufeira to Vilamoura. Garrett works on location across the Algarve rather than from a fixed studio, and his own site displays a 5.0 rating from 34 Google reviews, with clients praising his easy manner with children and large groups and his quick turnaround.
