Algarve Studios is Faro's creative engine room: a purpose-built studio space where photographers, filmmakers, brands and artists come to make things. Founded in 2023 by creatives who kept running into the same wall, nowhere in the Algarve to shoot properly without hauling equipment from Lisbon, they decided to build the answer themselves. The studio offers two distinct spaces. Space 1 is a bright 25 square metre room built around natural light and easy access, with a meeting table, 55 inch screen, and a lounge corner with sofa and coffee machine. Space 2 is the big one: 115 square metres on the lower level with 3.37 metre ceilings, full light control and air conditioning, made for complex sets, video productions and events for up to 60 people standing. A dedicated meeting room rounds out the building for planning days and client presentations. Hire comes as straightforward hourly packs, from a meeting room booking through studio hire to full camera and lighting packages, all including fast WiFi, sound system, lounge access and reserved parking. Beyond the space itself, the team rents out professional audiovisual equipment and takes on full productions: tourism and promotional photography, commercial video, and event coverage, with a five-person in-house team spanning direction, videography, marketing and design.
