Al-Gharb Coffee Roasters is an independent specialty coffee roastery and coffee shop on Beco do Sol in Sta. Eulalia, Albufeira. The shop serves single-origin V60s, espresso-based drinks, iced coffees and matcha, and describes itself as welcoming to families and pets. It roasts its beans on an airbed roaster, which the team says helps keep small batches consistent from one roast to the next. The business sources its beans with traceability back to origin, working with small farms and micro-lots that it says are paid a fair price for their harvest. Al-Gharb also says it stays open year-round specifically to counter the instability that Albufeira's seasonal tourism creates for hospitality workers, a point it makes directly on its own site. Alongside the coffee shop, Al-Gharb runs an online store selling roasted beans with a coffee subscription (a 10 to 15 percent discount for subscribers) and free shipping over EUR 30 to mainland Portugal and Spain. It also hosts bookable cupping and coffee tasting events at the shop. The cafe is open every day from 9am to 4pm.
