Why we do this
The Algarve runs on quiet generosity: animal shelters rehoming strays, food banks in the back rooms of churches, beach-clean crews out before the tourists wake up, bombeiros funded by raffle tickets. Those organisations need reach more than anyone, and they are exactly the ones who cannot justify a software subscription.
So we removed the question. Which organisations qualify for the free charity plan?
Registered non-profits working in the Algarve: Portuguese associações sem fins lucrativos, IPSS organisations, registered international charities with local operations, and community groups with formal registration. If you are not sure whether you qualify, ask us; we would rather look at it than have you not apply.
What does the free charity plan include?

Does Algarve Circle take a cut of donations or ticket sales?
No. Fundraiser ticket payments go directly into your own Stripe account and Algarve Circle takes 0% commission. We never handle or hold your money.
How do you verify a charity?
We check the registration details you send us, such as your NIPC and legal form, against the public record. Verification usually takes a day or two, and the Charity badge only appears once it is done.
We already have a website. Why list on Algarve Circle too?
