The Monte Gordo Flea Market is held 4th Saturday of the month in Vila Real de Santo António, 09:00 to 14:00, at Monte Gordo, near the Tourism Office.
A proper flea market (feira de velharias): antiques, second-hand goods, records, books, tools and the occasional unexpected find. Friendly haggling is part of it, and small notes help.
Mornings are best. Most stalls set up early and start packing up around lunchtime.
Bring cash. Many stallholders do not take cards, and small notes make life easier.
In summer, go early to beat the heat and get parking nearby.
