About this event

Cineclube de Tavira brings its outdoor summer cinema back to the cloisters of the Convento do Carmo, one of the most atmospheric screening venues in the Algarve, for a first run of screenings from 16 to 26 July (a second block follows from 6 to 16 August). This year's season is built around the theme Musica, Amor e Desejo de Transformacao, music, love and the desire for transformation. Screenings are free and open to all, part of the wider Verao em Tavira cultural programme that runs through the summer. Bring a layer for the evening breeze off the Gilao and expect a mixed programme of films rather than a single genre or era. Exact nightly start times are published by the Cineclube closer to each screening.
