Full Moon at Praia da Galé

Full Moon returns to Praia da Galé for the first of its two 2026 dates, an Albufeira council initiative that has grown into a fixture of the town's summer nightlife since it began in 1998. From 20:30 the beach fills with electronic music from DJ China (PT) alongside Justt, King Bizz and Gorelha, plus live sets from vocalist Filipa Sousa, violinist Isabel Carvalhaes, percussionist Sérgio Almeida and accordion player João Palma. The night closes with a traditional fire performance from Sofia Brito, a signature of the Full Moon series, staged right on the sand as the tide and the moonlight set the scene. Entry is free. Praia da Galé sits a few minutes west of central Albufeira, with parking nearby; arriving early and bringing a blanket or chair makes for the most comfortable evening.
