A ten day crafts fair fills Tavira's riverside Rua do Cais with traditional trades and live demonstrations.
Is this your event?
Claim Feira dos Oficios 2026 to manage it, add photos and tickets, and list it under your business. It is free.
The Feira dos Oficios takes over Rua do Cais on Tavira's riverfront from 7 to 16 August, part of the town's Verao em Tavira summer programme. Organised by the Associacao ASTA with the backing of the town council, it gathers artisans working in trades tied to the Algarve's cultural heritage, from basketry and pottery to embroidery and woodwork, many of them demonstrating their craft live rather than just selling it. Stalls line the riverside promenade through the evening, alongside food and drink from local producers, making it an easy stop to combine with a walk along the water or dinner in the old town. Exact daily opening times are published by the council closer to the date; the fair itself runs across the full ten days.
