Pizza Pasta Fantasia

Pizza Pasta Fantasia opened in the summer of 1989 and describes itself as the first Italian restaurant in the Algarve. It has been family owned and run since it opened, based in the Buganvilia Plaza on the Estrada da Quinta do Lago, next to Quinta Shopping and opposite the Conrad Algarve hotel. The kitchen makes traditional thin-crust pizza with homemade dough, alongside pasta dishes the family developed on trips to Italy, fresh salads, meat, seafood and daily specials; several of the restaurant's pizzaiolos have worked there since it opened. In July and August the restaurant runs free entertainment for younger guests each evening, including face painting, balloon modelling and character visits. Pizza Pasta Fantasia takes table bookings online or by phone, and runs takeaway and delivery daily from midday, covering Almancil, Quinta do Lago, Dunas Douradas, Vale do Garrão, Vale do Lobo and the area in between.
