Penguin Air Conditioning

Penguin Air Conditioning is a long-established installer of air conditioning and solar heating systems in the Algarve, based in Figueiral, Almancil. The company carries stock from major manufacturers including Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, Panasonic, LG and Sanyo, and is licensed to handle refrigerant. Alongside air conditioning, Penguin installs solar heating panels for swimming pools and villas, an option the company says suits the Algarve's high number of annual sunshine hours. It also fits underfloor heating, in both wet (water pipe) and dry (electric) systems, central heating radiators, and heat pumps for home and pool heating, which extract heat from the air and transfer it to water. One long-standing customer testimonial on the company's site describes a pool gas bill falling from EUR 180 in August 2011, before solar heating was fitted, to EUR 25 in August 2012 after installation, an example the company uses to illustrate the running-cost savings solar heating can bring. Penguin is a supporter of Almancil Rotary and can be reached by phone or through its website contact form.
