Karelle Laurent Nutrition

Karelle Laurent Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine is the practice of Karelle Laurent, a registered nutrition therapist (DipION, CISNCert, mBANT, rCNHC) who trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and the Centre for Integrative Sports Nutrition in London. French by birth, she has lived in the UK, Australia, Singapore and now Portugal, and works with clients worldwide, including in the UK, France, the United States, Singapore and Portugal, with consultations conducted mainly online. Laurent specialises in women's health, gut health and sports nutrition, working with hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue and gastrointestinal discomfort alongside athletes training for events from sprint to Ironman-distance triathlons and long-distance running and cycling. She began training as a nutrition therapist after her son suffered repeated allergies and infections as a baby, and describes her own experience of adrenal fatigue, anaemia and gut dysbiosis as part of what drew her to functional and integrative nutrition. The practice runs structured programmes including a 21-Day Gut Health Challenge, a Women's Hormone Health programme and a Nutrition for Performance Challenge, alongside a Gravel Cycling Retreat and one-to-one consultations.
