Geojardim

Geojardim is a landscaping company and garden centre based at Quinta das Palmeiras on the EN125 in Luz de Tavira. Alongside the garden centre, it runs a full landscaping service covering design, construction and maintenance, working across the technical areas needed to build sustainable green spaces. The garden centre stocks exterior and interior plants, fruit trees, aquatic plants, succulents, palms and aromatic plants, together with substrates, pots and fertilisers. It describes its range of large Mediterranean trees, olive, fig, carob, orange, lemon and pomegranate among them, as the widest on offer in the eastern Algarve. Geojardim builds its work around native flora, efficient irrigation and glyphosate-free weed control, and around 80 percent of its maintenance equipment is electric. Green waste from its own operations is recycled on site into compost, and about 80 percent of its suppliers are Portuguese. The company is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm, and supports its local community in Tavira, sponsoring the Cine Clube de Tavira's outdoor film season and donating to the Portuguese Red Cross's Tavira delegation.
