Escape Carvoeiro

Escape Carvoeiro is part of the UK-founded Escape.Game network (trading as Escape, run by Hillado Holdings) and operates from Rua do Barranco in Carvoeiro, five minutes' walk from Praia do Carvoeiro. It is the network's Portuguese location, sitting alongside its Escape.Game venues across the UK. Two 60-minute escape rooms run in English and Portuguese. The Bank Heist puts players in a team of robbers who must beat the security systems, crack the vault and escape with as much cash as possible before the police arrive. Seven Seas is a pirate-themed room in which players who staged a mutiny must break out of the ship's brig, raid the captain's quarters and grab the treasure before becoming shark food. Both rooms take 2 to 6 players, with 3 to 5 recommended for balanced gameplay. Pricing runs on a sliding per-player scale: EUR 25 per person for 2 players down to EUR 16.50 per person for 6 players (team totals from EUR 50 to EUR 99). Discounts include 10 percent off for birthdays or stag and hen parties (minimum 4 players), a family pack (EUR 5 off for under 8s, EUR 15 off for 9 to 12 year olds, with a minimum of 2 adults at base price), a 10 percent returning-player discount within 60 days, and a 10 percent Algarve resident discount (minimum 3 players) from 1 October to 1 March. The venue is not wheelchair accessible, as the games run on the first floor above the ground-floor entrance with no lift, and the local EVA bus route 107 (Portimao riverside to Praia do Carvalho, via Lagoa and Carvoeiro) stops two minutes away.
