Erin's Isle Irish Family Pub and Restaurant

Erin's Isle Irish Family Pub and Restaurant has traded in Montechoro, Albufeira since 1981, per the "Est 1981" mark on its own logo, a pair of crossed hurleys either side of Irish and Portuguese flags. The pub's own site notes that customers regularly tell owner Dave Madden that he has built the most authentic Irish pub anywhere in the world, and the family run business continues today under that name. Food runs on a rotating board of daily specials, chalked up fresh for each day of the week, spanning a full Irish/English breakfast, Guinness pie, Irish stew and burgers through to a Sunday Dinner of Irish roast and cabbage, alongside a standing claim to the best breakfast in town. Sport is shown on a bank of flat screens through the bar, with Gaelic football, hurling and rugby fixtures a particular focus (the pub's own branding features the Sam Maguire Cup, the trophy for Ireland's All Ireland football championship), and a downstairs bar and lounge, advertised on the pub's own signage as air conditioned with its own toilets, is given over to live music. The pub also caters for golf groups and takes enquiries for parties and private events through its own website.
