Conrad Algarve

Conrad Algarve is Hilton's luxury flagship in the region, set on the Estrada da Quinta do Lago at the edge of the Quinta do Lago estate near Almancil. Opened in 2012 with architecture styled on an 18th-century Portuguese palace, the hotel holds 154 rooms and suites topped by the Infinity Penthouse. In December 2024 the hotel was acquired by the Quinta do Lago group and reopened the following March after a refurbishment, continuing under the Conrad flag. Its dining centrepiece is GUSTO by Heinz Beck, which has held a Michelin star since 2017 under the German chef whose Rome flagship holds three. Around it sit Louro, the Dado Pool Restaurant & Bar, the Lago Lounge and The Nest. The spa runs to roughly 1,800 square metres with thermal areas and a vitality pool, and the hotel counts five pools in total, including a heated infinity pool with underwater music and a 75 square metre indoor pool. The location is built for golf: a golf concierge arranges tee times, and the Quinta do Lago courses are within walking distance, with a shuttle covering the beach. Families get a kids club, and the hotel hosts weddings, private events and meetings. Rooms are booked through Hilton's central reservation system, with seasonal offers published on the hotel's page.
