Casavostra Home

Casavostra Home is an interior design studio and lifestyle store in Almancil that traces its roots to 1986, when Teresa Cálem and João Louro, newly arrived in the Algarve, opened Alquatro, one of the first decor shops in the region. In 2011 the family business expanded further with the addition of Pizzeria Casavostra in the same building, which grew into one of the Algarve's well-known restaurants, and the shop itself has since evolved into today's Casavostra Home. The business now brings interior design, bespoke renovations, a curated lifestyle shop and dining together on the same site on Avenida 5 de Outubro in Almancil. Three interior designers, Lina Kneizyte, Ana Santos and Paula Mendes, work on projects ranging from mood boards and bathroom refits to full turnkey renovations, and the team also coordinates trades including upholsterers, locksmiths, painters, plumbers and carpenters as part of a one-stop-shop service. Recent projects featured on the studio's own site include houses in Tavira, Vale Verde and Casa Malia. Alongside interior design, the Casavostra Home shop sells furniture, home essentials, clothing, jewellery and accessories, with a focus on timeless design and Portuguese craftsmanship.
