Blackmoon Studio

Blackmoon Studio is a professional tattoo and nail studio in Almancil, built by its two resident artists, Tiago and Miliza, on a simple promise: our inspiration is you. The studio pairs a striking black-walled tattoo space with a bright, minimal nail room, and regulars describe it as spacious, clean and welcoming. It is pet-friendly too. Tattoos are by Tiago Ribeiro, who works across realism, fine-line and cover-ups with a portfolio that leans into detailed, realistic pieces. Every project starts with a consultation to align the design, size and placement before any ink goes on, and each session ends with clear aftercare guidance: keep it clean, moisturise well, stay out of the sun, and give it a month before beach and pool days. Nails are by Miliza da Silva, whose exclusive designs combine nail art techniques, French tips and extensions in polygel and acrylic. The menu runs from a classic manicure through French style and full nail art to a spa manicure with hand exfoliation, massage and deep hydration. A classic appointment takes 30 to 45 minutes, more complex designs and spa treatments up to an hour and a half, and extensions and nail art last two to three weeks with proper care. Blackmoon also runs tattoo workshops led by Tiago: an introduction course for beginners covering fundamentals, equipment and hygiene practice, and a realism specialisation for working tattoo artists focused on advanced shading, texture and composition. The studio is on Rua Manuel dos Santos Vaquinhas in Almancil, open Monday to Saturday from 10:30 to 19:00. Appointments are booked by phone or email.
