Alvor Boat Trips

Alvor Boat Trips has been running boat excursions from Alvor since 1997, making it one of the longest-established operators on this stretch of coast. It is a Portuguese-Irish family business and holds a Turismo de Portugal tourism activity licence (RNAAT no. 19/2012). The boats depart from the Alvor estuary and run a full menu of trips: fishing trips for families and groups, tours to the Benagil Cave and the wider sea grottos and cave coastline towards Carvoeiro, coastal cruises along the Algarve shoreline, a cruise up the Silves river, and sunset cruises. Snorkelling and paddleboard time is built into several of the trips. The company markets itself as "The Original & Best" fishing operator out of Alvor, reflecting nearly three decades on the water, and it keeps an active Instagram feed of recent trips and catches.
