Algarve Hot Tubs is a family-run hot tub company based in Loule, founded by Thomas Grunewald, a German-born, trained plumbing and heating engineer who has lived in the Algarve since 2001. He moved into hot tubs in 2007 after running a plumbing, heating and building company, and the business has grown into one of the region's established hot tub dealers. In 2023 the company became an official dealer for Hotspring Spas, and in 2025 it opened a dedicated Hot Tub Store in Loule. The range covers Hotspring's Highlife, Limelight and Hot Spot collections of hot tubs, Freeflow spas, swim spas, cold plunge tubs and saunas, alongside accessories and water care products. Beyond sales, the team offers a structured aftercare programme, including regular Spa Care visits tailored to how often a tub is used, an annual deep clean of the spa's pipework, shell and jets, and general repairs and troubleshooting across the Algarve. Algarve Hot Tubs is based at Area Empresarial de Loule and is open Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday visits available by appointment.
