Alfa Garden

Alfa Garden is the trading name of the garden centre at Quinta da Ataboeira in Ferreiras, on the outskirts of Albufeira. The business grew out of the quinta's own plant production, reselling and retail activity, and today its greenhouse covers more than 4,000 square metres. Inside, the centre stocks xerophytes, fruit trees, hedging plants and palm trees alongside what it describes as the Algarve's widest display of glazed pots for indoor and outdoor use, plus terracotta, ceramic and plastic planters and general garden decor. The centre also plants and labels a growing collection of palms and trees on site that visitors can walk around, adding to it every year. Alfa Garden is open every day and runs an online shop alongside the physical centre, with deliveries available. It keeps an active Instagram account (@quinta_ataboeira) and Facebook page (Quinta da Ataboeira) where it posts new arrivals and seasonal stock.
