Albufeira Riding Centre

Albufeira Riding Centre is a family-run equestrian centre set in the countryside near Albufeira, close to Vilamoura, among orange groves and cork fields at Vale Navio. The centre welcomes complete beginners through to experienced riders for treks, riding lessons, a Saturday Pony Club, birthday parties and special events, with staff and instructors including Emma, Alex, Melanie, Toma, Mel and Kate mentioned across its published customer reviews. Treks range from a 30 minute introduction for children aged 4 to 10 (EUR 30 per person) up to a 1 hour trek (EUR 45), a 1 hour sunset trek (EUR 55), a 1 hour Trek and Tapas Table ride (EUR 60) and a 2 hour trek (EUR 80). Group riding lessons run from EUR 30 to EUR 45 per person depending on length and level, private lessons from EUR 45 to EUR 65, and the Saturday Pony Club costs EUR 35 for a 3 hour session for ages 6 to 16. Children's birthday parties cost EUR 40 per person for a 3 hour session, and an Adults Pony Party (a trek and tapas experience) costs EUR 70. Pre-pay packages are also available: EUR 300 for a children's package of Pony Club and 30 minute lessons, or EUR 400 for an adults' package of lessons and treks. The centre is open in summer from 08:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 20:00, and in winter from 09:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.
