Family Medical Centre was structured from the start as a single multi-specialist group, so the same clinical record follows the patient from GP visit through specialist consultation to any on-site procedure. The clinical method reflects that integration. Every new patient is paired with a long-term GP who acts as the primary coordinator, with specialists slotting in as needed. The team includes Mr Robin Thomson, Dr Heleen Kampfraath and Dr Rosa Maia alongside the wider clinical staff, all multi-lingual and trained to work with expat, resident and visiting patients. Recently refurbished facilities support in-house diagnostics and ultrasound, which means many investigations that would otherwise require a hospital referral can be handled in the same visit. Patients range from Golden Triangle residents with ongoing specialist needs through visitors on holiday who develop acute issues. Walk-in appointments are available for urgent matters, bookings can be made online or by phone, and the practice coordinates hospital referrals when the situation calls for them.
