Krazy World: Zoo, Water Park and Family Attractions in Algoz
Zoo, mini golf, water play and paintball on one rural site near Algoz. Rescued animals, daily interactions and a full day of activities for families.
Krazy World opened in 1994 as the first American-style mini golf course in the Algarve, on a rural site near Algoz in the Silves municipality. The first animals arrived in 1996, and in 1998 the park was officially licensed as a zoo. About 70 percent of its species today come through wildlife rescue partnerships with AAP in the Netherlands, the Portuguese ICNF and RIAS Algarve.
A single day ticket covers the full park: the 18-hole mini golf course, swimming pools with slides, the Spray Park water play area, Nature Play outdoor zone, tree climbing, pedal karts, and the Terra Exotika interactive enclosures with birds, rabbits and giant tortoises. Farm feeding, pony and donkey grooming and bird shows are all included.
Paintball runs as a separate add-on from 15 euros per person (100-ball pack, minimum age 10, closed-toe shoes required). VIP experiences include the Lemur Interaction at 39.95 euros for groups up to five, with a keeper explaining the species and their Madagascar habitat.
On-site snack bar, birthday party packages, school programmes, group bookings and annual membership cards are available. Algarve residents can buy adult tickets for 9.95 euros and child tickets for 7.50 euros at the ticket office on production of proof of address.
