Edd's Beach was opened in late 2023 by owners who wanted to build something that holds up next to the view : a proper beach club with wine from its own vineyard, thoughtful food, and a design that matches the cliff-and-ocean setting.
The location is Pintadinho beach, a quieter stretch of coast between Ferragudo village and the river mouth. Because the cliffs face west, every sunset becomes a reason to extend the booking, which is exactly what the club is built for. Private parking, sunbeds, full-service bar and kitchen, and a wine list anchored by the house vineyard alongside Portuguese-led selections.
The kitchen focuses on what the team describes as stylish comfort food: elevated but approachable dishes designed to be eaten with a drink in hand, across an afternoon that stretches into evening.
