2026 iQFOiL European Championship: Olympic-Class Windsurfing in Portimão, 16 to 23 May

Eight days of Olympic-class iQFOiL windsurfing racing off Praia da Rocha. Portugal's Clube Naval de Portimão hosts the European Championship for senior windsurfers, 16 to 23 May 2026.

The iQFOiL is the Olympic windsurfing class and the 2026 European Championship brings the continental field to Portimão for eight days of open-sea racing. The Atlantic off Praia da Rocha provides the ideal combination of wind and swell for this demanding foiling discipline.

Spectators can follow the racing free of charge from the beach and cliff paths between the marina and Alvor, with the competitor village at Clube Naval de Portimão open to visitors during shore hours. Entry for competitors is via the iQFOiL Class Association.
